Bacon Cheeseburger Bites

Bacon Cheeseburger bites

Quick easy family and party friendly. I made these Super Bowl Sunday they were amazing. A little time consuming for me because I did not think about pre-rolling out all the biscuits before adding the contents. My mistake, once I was half way through I choose to roll out the biscuits, it went faster from there. Human error for sure. Cooking is all about learning from mistakes, and making it your own.

Prep Time: 10 minutes.
Cook Time: 40 minutes.
Oven Temperature: 375
Bake Time: 20 minutes.
Serves: 4 Adults (2 bites each) or 2 adults and 4 kids.

What You Need

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grand Biscuits.
  • 1 pound Ground Beef. (I would go with 80/20 or leaner less grease)
  • ½ onions, finely chopped.
  • Real Bacon Bits (I use these because it is faster than cooking the bacon, and crumbling it. Personal choice)
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce.
  • 5 oz cheddar cheese or any cheese you like. (I used Coby)
  • 2 Tablespoons of Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon of Salt.
  • Medium to large baking sheet, use parchment or silicon reusable baking sheets.

Instructions

Cook ground beef in large skillet add onions, bacon bits, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook beef thoroughly.

While beef is cooking, cut cheese into about 10 squares. Set aside.
Drain beef and set aside.

Roll out biscuits flat. I rolled them out about twice their normal size. Make sure you have enough space for sealing the biscuits after adding contents.

Once all biscuits are rolled out, take one at a times add about 1 tablespoon 1 ½ tablespoons of beef mix to center of biscuit. Add cheese on top, and take opposite sides on the biscuit and pinch together.

Take opposite sides and do the same thing. Make sure biscuit is completely sealed pinch joining sides together and smooth out. Place now round biscuit on baking sheet.
Continue same steps until all biscuits are on baking sheet.

Melt 2 Tablespoons of butter in microwave until liquid. Carefully remove from microwave, and set near baking sheet. Using a silicone baking brush dip it in butter and brush over all biscuits. Make sure to cover the tops completely. Lightly salt tops of buttered biscuits.

Bake for 15-20 minutes on bottom shelf. Biscuits should be a golden brown to medium brown color, remove from oven, and let sit for 5 minutes. Plate and serve with favorite burger condiments. (ketchup, bbq sauce, mustard, A1, hot sauce etc.)

Note: Serve hot.
