Easy Baked Parmesan Garlic Asparagus


Happy Valentine’s Day! I wanted to start with grilled parmesan garlic asparagus because this is one of my absolute favorite recipes. This simple recipe goes well with chicken, beef, pork, and fish, and is on the side of healthy. I thought this would be helpful for a nice dinner tonight or this weekend with your valentine. I found this recipe on Pinterest over a year ago, and I have made this several times over. My husband is not a fan of asparagus, so consider your other half before making. You could also be like me and just make enough for one. Simple, fast, easy, and delicious.

Prep Time: 5mins.

Cook Time: 20mins.

Over Temp: 375 

What you need:
  •        1 pound fresh asparagus
  •       2 Tablespoons olive oil (I use off brand olive oil )
  •       3 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese (also off brand is fine)
  •      2 Teaspoons of minced garlic (minced garlic is easier to use, but fresh garlic cloves are fine)
  •       Salt and Pepper to taste.
Asparagus is easy to prepare, wash, trim ends, and then let dry. 


I like to line my oven pans with the silicone reusable nonstick mats; however, parchment paper, or aluminum foil works. Lay the Asparagus on you pan and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
While the asparagus is cooking take the parmesan cheese and garlic and place in a large bowl and set aside. You will use this once the asparagus is finished.

Place pan in oven for 10-15 mins. When the timer goes off after 10-15 mins take the asparagus out and toss in large bowl with garlic and parmesan cheese, place the pan back in the oven for 5mins. When timer goes off take pan out of oven place asparagus on plate and serve.

NOTE: asparagus cools quickly so make this your last item to prepare, this recipe is best warm.
