Pasta Shells
Here is another fun take on tacos. This is a
really fast, cheap, and easy recipe to through together last minute. I found
this one on Facebook, and it is a fun favorite.
Prep Time: 15 Minutes
Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Oven Temp: 350 Degrees
What You Need
- Large Pasta Shells. Boiled, drained and let cool. (enough to fill the casserole dish. round or rectangle dishes both will work)
- 3 Cups of ground beef, finely chopped.
- ½ Cup Diced Onion. (Your choice)
- 1 – 15oz can of Enchilada Sauce.
- 1 Bag of Cheddar Cheese. (Favorite cheese blend)
- Casserole dish.
- Favorite Taco Toppings.
Directions
Cook ground beef with diced onions on medium
heat in a large skillet pan, once cooked drain beef. In a large mixing bowl mix
together beef and ½ the bag of cheddar cheese. Set aside.
Use ½ the can of enchilada sauce to cover the
bottom of the casserole dish.
Fill large pasta with beef and cheese mix,
place each stuffed shell into casserole dish open side facing up.
Continue
until casserole dish is filled, but not cramped.
Cover the stuffed shells in casserole dish with
the remaining can of enchilada sauce, make sure to cover them all, sprinkle the
remaining cheese over the top and bake for 25 Minutes.
Top with favorite taco toppings.
Note: Serve Hot.
