Sugar Bacon Wrapped Chicken
I am sorry for the gap in post, I have been
getting ready to move. Packing has consumed my life, along with a personal tragedy.
I will be posting several this week; however, I will be on a brief break for
the move. Bear with I will be back into the swing of thing again soon enough.
This recipe is. . . I have no words for how
delicious this chicken is. The chicken is just perfect!
Prep Time: 15 minutes.
Cook Time: 30 minutes.
Oven Temp: 350
Serves: 4-6
What
You Need
- · 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder.
- · 1 Teaspoon Cumin.
- · ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder.
- · ½ Teaspoon Salt.
- · ½ Teaspoon Pepper.
- · 2/3 Cup Brown Sugar. (For light brown sugar add 1 ½ cups.)
- · 1 ½ Pounds Boneless Chicken Breast, cut into tenders.
- · Bacon, cut pieces in half.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Generously spray a
broiling pan with cooking spray and set aside.
In a bowl, mix together the chili powder,
cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
In another bowl, pour in brown sugar.
Roll chick pieces in chili powder mixture.
Secure a piece of bacon around the chicken
breast, use a toothpick.
Roll bacon covered chicken breast into brown sugar
until well covered.
Place on the prepared broiler pan, repeat till
every piece of chicken is covered. Bake for about 30 minutes or until cooked
though.
If you wish to have crisper bacon broil chicken
for additional 3 minutes on each side.
Let rest for a few minutes.
Note: Serve Hot.
