Brownie Ice Cream Bars
Brownie
Ice Cream Bars
I made these bars for Fourth of July, and I had
some very positive feedback. I picked up everything at Aldi’s. It was cheap,
easy, and they turned out fantastic.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes.
Oven Temp: 350.
Serves: 6- 12 Depending on the size of bars you
make. (Doubled the batch for more)
What You Need
1 box of Brownie Mix. (Milk Chocolate is what I
used.)
1 Cup Vanilla Ice Cream.
Mixing bowl
Parchment Paper
Non-stick cooking spray, or butter.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the box of brownies according to the box,
double the amount of eggs used. Mix well.
Use non-stick spray or butter to grease two 9”x9”
square baking pan. Line baking pan with parchment paper with extra hanging out
of the pan, you will use these as handles for lifting the brownies out when
baked.
Divide the brownie mix even, one half in the
first baking pan, and the rest into the second baking pan. Level mix.
Bake brownies at 350 for 15 minutes. Take out,
check, add more time if needed. Let cool completely.
Take ice cream out of freezer and let sit for
15 minutes.
Leave one baked brownie in the 9x9 pan, add ice
cream on top of brownie.
Level out ice
cream. Using parchment paper handles lift the remaining baked brownie mix from
the baking pan, place of top of ice cream.
Wrap 9x9 baking pan and place in freezer for
6-8 hours.
Cut and serve.
